The prices seem up for what I'd expect for a local Thai restaurant, having said that when the portions came, they were really quite large and 2 Mains was more food than three of us could eat. The staff were polite but very quiet even solemn in their manner.

The clue was at the start and we should have done a 180 right away. Asked for a table for two and was gruffly told while having a couple of dog eared menus with hand written edits of pricing flung at us that you can sit anywhere you like (soup Nazi style).

There's a small outdoor eating area which would have been nice in the daytime.

Drinks are available at the bar and a schooner of coke and two small soda water was about $10.

The kids who are quite the massaman curry connoisseurs, thought the potato with a little undercooked and one of the pieces of meat had a chunk of gristle :-(.

I was quite pleasantly surprised that the jungle curry did not shy away from it spicy Heritage and was slightly hotter than your average Thai place which is great to see.

Ignore the 4 and 5 star reviews and avoid. Or alternatively give it a try and feel free to add to my thoughts on the joint.

Easily the most awful Thai food I've not eaten. Fish cakes were inedible. They looked a little like triple deep fried squashed dogs doings. The internal consistency was also similar to what you would expect if you cut the above mentioned trinket open. My stomach turned as my partner tinkered with them and then ate some!! I couldn't face them, the appearance was too much. The main was a generic Thai curry from a tin (ie. it tasted okay!) but the chicken was like something I have not experienced. It looked like ... well I'm not sure what it looked like but its appearance was sort of like thick leaves of chicken, shiny on one side and when bitten into had the texture of an eraser. I honestly have no idea what it was but the 7 other things in the dish (pieces of vegetables, that's right 7 pieces in total) didn't go along way towards disguising the taste of greasy, fried 'bottom' meat. The rice, did I mention the rice. You can't stuff up rice right. I mean you put rice and water in a rice cooker and stand back! Nah cooked weeks before hand, then frozen, then defrosted, left on a counter for a day or two and then frozen again. Sometime later it was defrosted, sat around, was put in the fridge for a bit and then poorly microwaved (not quite warm enough) and served to a paying customer. Bizarrely hard and tough but stodgy and sticky at the same time.

This little Thai place is inside the local pub on the corner. It's friendly enough and if you come through the side entrance you don't need to walk through the bar.

The menu is diverse and the chefs are very good. Always enjoy my meals here and am never disappointed. Service is quite fast in my experience

This place is a gold mine for the owners and possibly the worst dining experience you will ever undergo as clients.
